Newsletter - November 09 Together we can make a difference.   The harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest that He would send forth laborers into His harvest. - Luke 10:2 Please pray with us that the Lord will send people to assist BTN to do His work. Outreaches in the community BTN co-ordinates outreaches in many places in the community and had the pleasure of co-ordinating an outreach with a group of boys from Abingdon School in the UK. They came to help for several weeks in July/August and did various community projects, including... Aunty Hannah's School - Building a 'jungle gym' and co-ordination development playground, plus improving other school facilities Below: The finished playground Rambuda School - Painting, putting up noticeboards and a co-ordination and development kit Below: Making friends with some of the schoolboys BTN Base - Assisting with painting, building a fence, and doing various other base tasks Below: Fence construction underway   Mozambique - Distributing food to the poor, helping with school and church maintenance, and building a co-ordination development kit Below: Giving sugar to the children - they love it! Lighthouse Project Starts Shining It has no building yet, but it is already building the children's lives! In a recent newsletter we shared how we are burdened for the orphans in our community. Acting upon God's leading, we have begun to care for three young orphans, and are planning to 'adopt' a further two in January. They will be housed in caravans while we trust the Lord to build proper accomodation. Right: Shandukani (9), Solomon(5), and Faith (4) East Africa Mission Trip Brad and Hazel had an eventful trip to Kenya, Tanazania, and Uganda in October. They spent five weeks training, exhorting, motivating, and assisting pastors and Christian educators in all three countries. Should this be your portrait? We are waiting for you!   God's work here needs educators, builders, co-ordinators, assistants, and anyone else who loves God and wants to serve Him. Base Expansion Underway Pictured are the foundations for simplexes six and seven: new accommodation for BTN missionaries. Pray with us as we seek God's provision to finish these much-needed buildings.   To all our fellow believers, never forget: "Let us not grow weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not." - Galatians 6:9
