Let's Build the Nations by doing good wherever we
can!
At Work in
Zimbabwe
BTN took food to an
orphans village in Zimbabwe and helped repair their water tank. We
also helped train teachers in the village's preschool. The preschool
has requested our help in supplying and erecting a co-ordination and development
mini playground, so please pray that we will be able to do this in July this
year.

Soccer: The Universal Language
Soccer
is one language that every African speaks. Please pray for our
soccer outreach tournament to be held later this year in the township,
reaching out to the local boys. We expect great interest and the boys
to have a lot of fun!
Inspiring Zambian
Educators
BTN's Brad Palmer went to Lusaka, Zambia to speak at
the national ACE Educator's Convention to train and encourage the
Christian teachers. The attendees left the convention excited to continue
the Lord's work and built up in their faith.
Relief to
the Poor in Mozambique
BTN sent a team to Chicumbane,
Mozambique with food and gifts for the church there over the Easter weekend,
taking Christ, the reason for the season, to the people. The team also gave food
to many poor households in the surrounding rural areas.
With
our repeated visits to Chicumbane, we are beginning to create relationships with
the church team there. The seeds we are sowing are quite literally 'bearing
fruit' - one of the men gave us a watermelon grown from the seeds that we
had previously given him! He was rejoicing in the harvest that had come
in.
We were especially blessed when on the way back we stopped to give a
young lad some sweets. But before we were able to give them to him, he smiled
joyfully and handed us a watermelon! Never before has this happened, and we can
see the people's gratitude returning to us. It touched our hearts to receive
such a sincere gift.

Pray for the Work of
BTN
We need more
volunteers to help in the school, with community outreaches, and
with missions projects. Please also agree with us as we trust the Lord for
another vehicle and equipment to cope with our work. Pray for God's guidance as
we receive new requests for help, and the Lord's continual provision to
maintain and complete the base in Limpopo.
